Protein Energy Balls

These protein energy balls were a firm favourite at our latest Re:treat, so we couldn’t not share the super easy recipe with you! Simply combine all ingredients together & roll into golf-ball sized spheres. Put on top of grease-proof paper and leave to set in the fridge and you are DONE!

Ingredients:

Makes 10 energy bites:

  • 4 tablepsoons of peanut butter (crunchy or smooth) - I always use Meridian however.

  • 1.5 tablespoon of agave nectar (honey will also work)

  • 25g dark chocolate chips

  • 25g of raisins

  • 100g oats (any kind, I used jumbo rolled for this version)

  • Splash of almond milk

  • Note: You can choose whatever nut butter and you like and can sub the choc chips for dried fruit, nuts (or extra chocolate!)

Method:

  1. Pour all the ingredients into a bowl and combine. If you find they don’t stick together well enough, add a splash of almond milk or a drizzle more honey.

  2. Split the mixture into 8 equal parts and roll each part into a round ball (around the size of a golf ball)

  3. Place these on a sheet of greaseproof paper and leave to set in the fridge for a minimum of an hour to set.

  4. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
