Is there alcohol?

One thing a lot of Re:treaters are keen to know - can you have wine! Absolutely. Part of the enjoyment of delicious food and socialising/unwinding is pairing it with a glass of wine. Drinking is entirely optional, but will be offered for those who would like to.

How fit do I need to be?

Re:treats are suitable for all levels of fitness. Whether you’re a complete beginner, suffering a niggle or injury, or you are an avid hiker & regular gym-goer, you will get plenty out of your weekend. While there is lots of movement encouraged, and on offer, all activities are entirely optional too. So, if you would rather sit something out, that’s more than ok!

Is the Re:treat just for women?

Most of our re:treats are women only, however men are welcome on some. We have a mix of twin, double & single rooms to accommodate friends, family, singles & couples. All activities will be tailored to all fitness levels too - so there will be plenty of challenges available for those who want it! Plus plenty of down-time for those who don’t.

What activities are involved?

All Re:treats offer a variety of activities & include guided hikes and walks, strength & conditioning classes, gentle stretching sessions, time for mindfulness, and nutrition & meal-prep sessions too! There will also be optional 1-2-1 PT sessions available at a reduced cost.

Will I have to join in with all of the activities?

Not at all. Re:vert Re:treats are here for you to escape the day-to-day, and find a way of relaxing, moving & switching off… in whatever way suits you. There is plenty on offer, and while movement is encouraged, everything is entirely optional. There are plenty of gorgeous pockets of quiet around the grounds, including a hot tub and sauna, so if an activity isn’t quite for you - that’s more than OK!

What do I need to bring?

A good pair of trainers and walking boots if you have them. If you don’t have walking boots - that’s totally OK. Just be mindful that your trainers may get muddy! Active wear and layers, including a waterproof jacket - the weather in the hills can get chilly… but on a sunny day it’s dreamy! A water bottle, small rucksack, lounge wear, slippers/socks for the house, swimsuit, casual clothes for the evening, and PJs to snuggle up in! Fluffy towels and toiletries are provided.
